About Bevan

Bevan McKinnon is an Elite level Triathlete having competed at the World Champs at Olympic, Long Course and Ironman distances. Bevan is a previous winner of the Taupo Half Ironman, Challenge Wanaka Half and has numerous top 10 placings in international Iron distance triathlons including 2 podium finishes. Most recently he became the fastest ever New Zealand age group athlete at IMNZ in Taupo crossing the line in 8hrs 48 mins.

Bevan is a Level 3 TRINZ accredited coach. He is also qualified as a Bike NZ Level 1 coach, a personal trainer, a strength and conditioning coach and is a certified member of the NZ Register of Exercise Professionals (REP'S). Along with running one of New Zealand’s most successful Triathlon Coaching and Swimming businesses he is also the founder and co-host of Fitter Radio. The Fitter Radio podcast covers the sports of triathlon, swimming, cycling and running including training and nutrition information and basically all things endurance! Listen to the latest research, interviews with pro athletes and leading experts to help you improve your sports performance and your health.
