To continue to grow my professional career whilst balancing a high level of training. It’s not easy training 14+ hours a week whilst wanting to be successful in a corporate fast pace environment but it is more than achievable. I want to have a kickboxing or MMA fight in 2018. I also want to continue to help coach kids kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu as I love kids and enjoy it so much. My goal for this year is to compete all BJJ comps, run Sunday women’s classes with my friend Sarah who owns Training Grounds Drumoyne. I feel it's almost my duty as a female mixed martial art student to empower as many women I can by learning self-defence. If I can help give one woman the confidence in a situation she once had none then I know I’m on the right track and I’m happy with where my life is going.
What is your Biggest career influence?
My coach Scott Ireland. He has a great outlook on life and how important being happy with what you're doing truly is. He was England's youngest MMA fighter and also had a high level career in Investment Banking so he has experience in many aspects in life. What I love is his positive attitude to training and his strict mind set on fighting. He knows me better than I know myself and he is someone whose opinion I hold in high regard. I am continually striving to be a better person and a better mixed martial Artist because of his guidance. I have no limit on my Mixed Martial Arts career because I have one of the best coaches in Australia to take me wherever it is I want to go.
