Performance Greens Smoothie

Use seasonal, locally- grown produce to help bolster your immune system. Feijoa's are a terrific source of vitamin C and they're due to start dropping from the trees. This smoothie packs 179% of the Recommended Dietary Intake for Vit C. Avocados are a great source of mono- and polyunsaturated fats - good heart health fats.

Time to make: 5 minutes 

INGREDIENTS

  • 300ml brewed and chilled lemon & ginger tea (or use water)
  • ½ avocado
  • 2 large feijoas (skin on if home- grown, if bought from a store you might want to remove the skins)
  • 1 serve Balance Performance Greens (10g)
  • ½ tsp honey

METHOD

  1. Place all ingredients in a high- powered blender and blitz until well combined.
  2. Pour into serving glass and sprinkle with chia seeds if desired.
